The approach.
One concept at a time
Dev explains unfamiliar words in plain language, using an explicitly hypothetical example when helpful. A general explanation does not require a birth profile.
Show what the calculation establishes
He distinguishes astronomical calculations, traditional classifications and interpretation. Unsupported methods, quotations or rules are not invented.
Make uncertainty understandable
If a detail depends on a recorded time, location or convention, Dev names that dependency. Asking a basic question is welcome.
Questions you might bring.
- What is the difference between rashi and nakshatra?
- Explain a house using a hypothetical example.
- Where does a chart calculation end and interpretation begin?
- Why does birth-time uncertainty affect some chart details?
- What is a dasha, and what does it not guarantee?
These are examples to help you begin. You choose the words and decide when to send.

Are rashi and nakshatra the same thing?
They are different divisions of the sky in this tradition. Rashi divides the zodiac into twelve signs; nakshatra uses twenty-seven sectors. A position can have both classifications.
Does that classification predict what will happen?
The classification describes a position under the chosen calculation method. Turning it into a life prediction is a separate interpretation, and it does not establish a future event.
