Read the rows before the total
The eight factors carry different weights, from one point for Varna to eight for Nadi. Their maximum is 36. Each row shows what was counted. These are traditional table points, not a probability that a relationship will succeed or a test of either person's worth.
A declared method, including its differences
We use the raw tables in Uttarakhand Open University's 2024 Melapak evam Vivah text. A repeated name in its animal-group prose is resolved with Raman's original assignment. Some tables depend on historical order; you can inspect either direction without assigning anyone a gender. Other published conventions may produce different numbers.
A range can be the more useful answer
A Moon sign, birth star or half-sign category can change within an uncertain birth time or near a calculation boundary. The result preserves feasible combinations and shows a range where necessary. It does not replace an unknown time with noon. Even a stable score does not prove an exact birth time.
Keep the people in the conversation
The result does not establish caste, personality, sexual behaviour, health, fertility or a marriage outcome. It does not include Manglik, cancellation rules or a full relationship reading. Speak about communication, consent, expectations and practical circumstances. Neither a high number nor a low one should make the decision for you.
Sources and method

- Uttarakhand Open University: Melapak evam Vivah (2024), pp. 126–134
Primary university-authored traditional tables. This implementation declares its raw-table convention; it does not adopt predictive or medical interpretations.
- B. V. Raman: Muhurtha (1948), pp. 82–84
Independent original assignment of birth stars to symbolic animal groups. Used to resolve the repeated name in the other text, without copying narrative.
