Name what is happening now
‘Tell me everything about my future’ leaves little room for a helpful answer. Instead, describe the change in front of you: a possible move, an uncertain relationship, or a choice between two kinds of work. Keep other people's identifying details out of the conversation.
Separate three things
Write down the facts, your interpretation and your available choices. For example: ‘I have an offer in another city. I am worried about leaving my family. I can accept, negotiate a later start, or stay.’ This gives the guide something concrete to work with and makes it easier to spot assumptions.
- What do you know from direct experience?
- What are you hoping a reading will clarify?
- What choice remains yours, whatever the reading says?
Use the right guide
Work & direction focuses on roles and change. Relationships & family focuses on communication and expectations. Life & new chapters gives space to reflect on a broader transition. You can ask the guide to explain a chart concept, but personalized chart facts must come from the calculation tools and include their limitations.
Leave with a small action
A useful closing question is, ‘What is one practical step I can try this week?’ That might be checking an offer, preparing a conversation or gathering information. Astrology is a reflective or cultural lens here. Medical, legal and financial decisions need appropriate expertise and real-world evidence.
